Programme Highlight:
ABB is a technology leader in the fields of electrification and automation. In China, they established ABB Xinhui Low Voltage Switchgear Company Limited in 1995, producing low voltage electrical appliances. Molded-case circuit breakers (MCCBs) are widely used for industrial control and building power distribution systems. In addition to MCCBs, the company extends its product range into Dual Power Transfer Switches, Disconnector Switches, Switch Fuses, Soft Starters, Electronic Overload Relays, Thermal Overload Relays, Contactors, Manual Motor Starters etc. The products are not limited to the domestic market but are also exported to European and Asian markets.
During this trip, members will have the opportunity to visit ABB's automated production line, advanced production equipment, R&D competence center, and laboratory. They will be presented with a comprehensive introduction to the company's products, sharing the latest technological advancements and designs in electrical appliances.
Notes for all participants:
All participants shall bring their own valid passport, entry permit or visa, Home Return Permit, HKID card etc. Participants shall wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

CPD Certificate:
CPD attendance certificate (6 hours) will be distributed to the participants after the visit by email. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants to attend the visit.
Registration & Enquiry:
The visit is free of charge and prior registration is required. For registration, please register via the enrolment website.
The maximum number of participants is 40. Registration will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis and priority will be given to members of HKIE-BSD, ASHRAE-HKC and CIBSE-HKR.
