Joint Technical Seminar on Smart Construction Technologies

Programme Highlight:
Construction programme of most development projects in Hong Kong are often tight and fast-tracked. With traditional practice, performing the tasks of quality control of completed works, especially those with complex structural geometry or architectural features, are often time consuming, labour intensive and may have accuracy issues of inspection data. In this seminar, the speaker will share the latest smart methodology, a cloud based virtual collaboration platform that utilizing and analysing digital data form design stage BIM model and captured as-constructed 3D point cloud models, that could be adopted to be more effectively addressing these issues, enhancing improvement in safety, quality and progress management in a construction environment; also the concerns and considerations when planning, selecting and adopting these technologies.

CPD Certificate:
An electronic copy of CPD attendance certificate (1-hour) will be issued to the participants with over 80% attendance within one month after the seminar by email. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify and terminate those non-properly registered participants.

The seminar is free of charge and prior registration is required. The number of participants is limited to 30 in-person attendees and 500 online participants.
