Completed in the 1980s, Exchange Square is a major development that sets the benchmark in Hong Kong for a prestigious, globally oriented, 24-hour business complex. It is home to many leading international investment banks and financial institutions.
As a leading building developer, owner, and operator, Hongkong Land reinvests up to $100 million annually in retrofitting its buildings to drive energy and operational efficiencies, reduce wastage, and to meet the everchanging expectations of their tenants, while achieving its science-based carbon emission reduction targets for 2030. Integrated Smart Management System is one of the many innovative initiatives from Hongkong Land that redefines facility operations by enhancing operational efficiency in a sustainable way.
The guest speaker from Hongkong Land will share their insights on their journey to redefine facility operations. Project Features Use of AI, IoT and big data analysis in the Integrated Smart Management System, have contributed to the evolution of the award-winning Control Monitoring Centre in Exchange Square into a big data analytic hub serving all of Hongkong Land’s 12 buildings in Central, Hong Kong. In 2022, energy savings of 12% have been achieved in Hongkong Land’s Central Portfolio compared to 2019.
